DMV Screens Deliver Noticeable Impact at Pennsylvania Locations
Fluency Media Research conducted an in-person study at high-traffic Pennsylvania DMV offices to assess the visibility, engagement, and impact of MVN’s digital signage network.
With 178 customers surveyed, the findings revealed how DMV visitors interact with and perceive MVN’s screens, confirming the effectiveness of DMV media in reaching real, diverse, and attentive audiences.
Key Findings
High Visibility and Engagement
Over 77% of respondents said they noticed the TV monitors during their visit, with many indicating the screens caught their attention even from a distance. Several comments noted the screens helped pass the time, improved the experience, and added a “modern” feel to the office.
Strong Public Support
When informed that the monitors are sponsored and provided at no cost to taxpayers, more than 3 in 4 respondents (78%) expressed a positive or neutral view of the sponsor-supported model. Many appreciated the mix of helpful information and entertainment during wait times.
Positive User Feedback
Open-ended feedback was overwhelmingly supportive. Visitors praised the screens as “nice,” “clean,” “helpful,” and “professional.” One respondent called the service “fantastic,” while another said, “Thumbs up on all counts!”
Opportunities for Enhancement
A small number of comments pointed to TV positioning and volume as areas for potential improvement. These responses reinforce MVN’s commitment to optimizing each installation for maximum viewer satisfaction.
Conclusion
This survey confirms that MVN’s DMV signage network is not only seen and remembered, but also valued by the public. In a setting where dwell time is high and distractions are few, MVN screens deliver trusted visibility, turning every wait into a branding opportunity.
Methodology:
This study was conducted by Fluency Research Group in October 2016 at two Pennsylvania DMV locations—Norristown and Philadelphia Arch Street. A total of 178 customers participated in structured, in-person intercept surveys administered on-site.
